Road to Logistics is a Community Interest Company, established with Government backing, to tackle the Driver shortage. Our goal is to provide an innovative and effective way of bringing new drivers into the industry, through offering free driver training and qualifications to individuals who may be considered vulnerable or marginalised.
We are now looking for a Test Centre Administrator who can join our team, to be responsible for the coordination and administration of DVSA theory test booking, practical test booking and provisional licensing.
The purpose of the role is to support the Head of Talent and Driver Training Manager in assisting Trainees through their programme to gain an LGV Driving Licence and valuable experience in the Road Transport Sector.
The main duties will to administer the following processes:
1). Arranging Medical examinations.
2). Preparing applications for provisional licences
3). Booking of LGV Theory Tests
4). Booking of LGV Practical Driving Tests
5). Arranging Driver CPC Training
6). Liaison with the Trainees, Driver Training Manager and External Training Providers.
7). Liaison with potential Employers from the Transport and Logistics Sector.
Skills and Experience Required:
Ideally, we are looking for an individual who has some experience of the DVSA booking systems and processes, but more importantly, we are looking for an experience administrator with excellent organisational ability and a keen eye for detail.
You will be an excellent communicator, displaying empathy and patience when dealing with trainees, and demonstrating professionalism at all times.
